The factory is located in the Kalutara district, in the town of Dodangoda.Kalutara city is a rapidly developing area with educated and skilled workforce. The highlight of the city is the Kalutara Bodhiya ( A Buddhist Temple ) which is a structural feat. The factory is located in close proximity to the Colombo harbor and airport ( approx. 41Km ) and is a high demand tourist location with beautiful beaches and hotels accessible through a newly built highway.
Factory is in operation since 1993. It is a multi-skilled factory equipped with modern machineries and equipment to handle all variety of materials and products. It has a highly skilled and experienced work force of 550 ( approx. ) employees and a developed surrounding. The factory operates with seven production teams running at an average efficiency of 70% and above for long and short runs. The annual production capacity of the factory is 900,000 pieces at 2,721,600 available minutes. It consists of a full production chain from Cutting to Finishing. We offer varieties of welfare services to employees inclusive of day care centers for the female employees whilst taking the factory forward in terms of Lean practices and sustainable developments through the Plan-A project.
Texwin Clothing – The factory is located in Hingurakgoda, in the Polonnaruwa District. It is a sacred city very much a tourist attraction. Along with the historical sites, it has wildlife parks and the magnificent Somawathi Temple. It is the central point of the country and has links to all cities North, South, East and West. Currently the new Polonnaruwa is undergoing a major development project known as the ‘Awakening of Polonnaruwa’ under the concept of our new President. It envisions the development of the sectors of the city, roads, agriculture, education and health. It is currently a hub for manufacturing and will grow to become an important city of Sri Lanka.
Factory is in operation since 1998. It’s a multi-skilled factory equipped with modern machineries and equipment to handle any material and products. It has a highly skilled and experienced work force of 1000 employees with 450 seamstresses. The factory, presently operates with ten production teams running at an average efficiency of 70% and above for long runs. The annual production capacity of the factory is 2,640,000 pieces at 5,745,600 available minutes. It consists of the full production chain from Cutting to Finishing as well as offering new technological innovations in steam ironing and the permanent super crease to mention a few. The factory specializes in kids wear and pants for both ladies and gents. It is on the Lean journey and is on the verge of completing Plan-A and become a completely sustainable factory.
Lankapura Apparel – The factory along with Texwin Clothing is also located in Hingurakgoda, in the Polonnaruwa District. Which is a sacred city very much a tourist attraction in the Polonnaruwa district. Our belief is that Polonnaruwa is a developing area for the manufacturing sector and hence adding another factory was vital and we wish to continue to develop and grow in the city.
The factory is in operation since 1992. It’s a multi-skilled factory equipped with modern machineries and equipment to handle all variety of materials and products. It has a highly skilled and experienced work force of 800 (approx.) employees with 340 seamstresses and a developed surrounding. The factory operates with seven standard production teams and has the capability to shift to any production methods. It runs at an average efficiency of 70% and above for long runs. The annual production capacity in the factory is 2,280,000 pieces at 5,000,000 available minutes. It consists of the full production chain from Cutting to Finishing. The factory specializes in pants, trousers, and boxer shorts for both ladies and gents. Sustainable developments are beginning to be put in place.
